Myntra.com — warranty denied | |
I purchased a asics running shoes 2 months (Order number[protected]-3761103) back from myntra.com. The shoe got torn from the top in 2 months. The shoes are under warranty but myntra is declining the warranty claim saying that it is a manufacturing defect. How can the top surface get torn so quickly. Thus i visited asics store and they said that warranty can be claimed for this. But they said they will cover warranty if it was brought from the store. They refused to cover the warranty since it was bought from myntra. They said you need to reach out to myntra. My question remains on what grounds myntra is rejecting the claims. Myntra is not the platform which will provide warranty. It has to cover warranty provided by asics. They keep saying that it is not manufacturing defect thus claim is rejected. If a torn mesh within 2 months is not a manufacturing defect then what is manufacturing defect? I had a similar problem with asics shoes bought from jabong and they refunded the complete amount since the shoe was not available. Here it seems like myntra is making its own rules for warranty rather than providing the warranty that the brand (In this case asics) is providing. Regards Krishna Was this information helpful? | |
