[Resolved] Naaptol India — false impersonation & fraud | |
Malicious actor claims to be a naaptol executive, the target (Victim) is requested to send certain amount of money [tax] to google pay accounts. The process of theft follows as : 1. Victim receives 2 high quality real looking letters (Photo attached with email). Victim is lored in with attractive prices like laptops, curved uhd tvs, latest mobile phones. 2. Victim is asked to open/scratch coupon attached with the letter to win 3. Victim is asked to call malicious impersonator to share the code from coupon. The fraudsters numbers are - +91 [protected] +91 [protected] +91 [protected] 4. Victim seems to have won the price (False) 5. Victim is asked for details like * victims bank account number * victims bank account holder data like kyc & national ids * credit card numbers if any * and much more confidential data is requested. 6. Victim is then asked to make a payment (Tax) in fraudsters account via services like google pay, paytm, upi. We would like to inform you that the documents i.e. letter and scratch card coupon received by you are completely fake and no such prize distribution has being organised by Naaptol Company.
That these documents are sent to you by people who are pretending to be from Naaptol Company and using its good will to lure people into depositing hefty amount of money in their bank accounts.
It is kindly requested do not provide any kind of financial or personal details to these fraudsters or give them any kind of money because it may lead to heavy financial loss to you.
