NHPC IPO — NON refund of Balance amount

I had applied for 2625 shares of NHPC through HDFC online system ( application no. 3438892) on 11/8/09. I got 713 shares of it but balance refund was not transferfed in my HDFC account so far. whereas my wife too had applied for the same no. of shares through HDFC online system on the same day and at the same timeand she got the balance transferred in her account on 27th August. Pl. look into this and do the needful.

NHPC IPO — Non receipt of refund amount

My application no. is 12944838 I had applied for 2625 shares and I was alloted 713 shares which was credited to my Demat account that too on 02.09.2009, but so far I have not received my balance amount Rs.68,832 which should have been credited to my bank account through NEFT as per my details submitted by my DP.
I was told by Ms. Pragya of Karvi that the amount is sent through warrant no.356695 to my address on 27.08.2009. This is mistake from thier part as NSDL site clearly shows my bank details with MICR code. Even as on today i.e.14.09.2009 I checked up with our Powai post office no such Registered letter is received by them which I also personally checked myself from 27.08.2009 onwards.
Even their toll free no. is not responding. Who will look in to these complaints? Once you have applied in IPO you are left to their mercy.

I had applied for 525 shares of NHPC vide Application No. 3436760 on line on 11/08/09.
I did not receive any intimation regarding allotment of shares. On checking on line from Karvy, I learnt that I have been allotted 175 shares and based on refund order No.1002000, Rs 12,600/- was remitted through National Electronics Fund Transfer(NEFT). However the fund transfer got rejected by the Bank. On contacting Customer Care official at Kavya Computers I was told that Draft sent by post too has been received back as the applicant could not be contacted.
My address at Chandigarh shown in Refund Order has been changed since 10/7/07 . However my Bank Acct No. linked to the Security Trading Acct has not been changed & I have been trading on line with that acct since Sept 2006.Please send me Draft for Refund amount at following Address:-

Shares — Non refund of Money

My father has applied for R-Power shares in the last IPO & also have applied for opening DEMAT A/c with PARASRAM HOLDINGS PVT. LTD., PANIPAT(HARYANA).

He was alloted Demat A/c No. 10563959 of name RAM NIWAS GUPTA HUF but due to some problem after sometime the A/c was cancelled & the same A/c no. was allotted to some other person. But upto that time my father has submiited a cheque with the application. The cheque no. was 0548686 of amount Rs. 25875 drawn on HDFC Bank.

But after that we come to know that the shares have been allotted to the other person & we get neigher shares nor refund. We have also requested to the broker many times but all go in vain.

So now I m directly contacting u to take some effective steps in this direction & provide me refund in my A/c no. 0548686 as early as possible.

I have applied for 1700 shares of NHPC LTD. vide application no. 5 3330904 & there should be confirmed allotment of some shares neither i got allotment nor i get the refund till 31st august suggest why i had not been alloted shares instead full anount has been debited from my bank account .

Hello Sir,

I have applied for 1050 NHPC IPO shares and got 285 shares alloted. The remaining amount of 765 shares i.e. Rs. 27540 (Twenty Seven Thousand Five Hundred And Fourty Only) is still not credited on my bank account.

Hello Karvy,

I have not received my refund amount where as i have been alloted 380 shares of NHPC v/s 1400 applied. I should be getting the refund amount of Rs.36720/-. I do not understand the reason for the delay. Today is 16th September 2009 and yet not received.

However till date I have not received any refund nor it credited to my account. I had applied through my broker Sharekhan by online (Sharekhan is the most useless broker in this line cause they are not doing anything for refund).

I have applied for LAND through TANSIDCO (Tamilnadu SIDCO) in Pollupalli, Krishnagiri DT, which comes under Tamilnadu Governement.

The initiial amount has been kept for 3 years with them without any interest and later the land was not allotted and the refund has been given back after (around) 3 months from the intimation date of non-allocation.

Apart from the above they have also received few thousands as application fee and processing fee.

Though this was communicated to me while applying, my concern here is if the land had been allotted then the application fee and the interest towards the paid amount (Initially and later some down payment) could have been taken from me.

But since the land is not allotted, I feel that the interest for the Paid amount along with the application & Processing fees (as the land is not allotted) has to be paid to me as I am not allotted any land and hence the processing fee, etc is not applicable for me.

NHPC is a fraud company. It was my mistake to invest money in such groups. Another fraud is HDFC securities. The worst trading sector. NEVER EVER TRADE THROUGH HDFC

i had applied for 175 shares of NHPC. The application No. is 23200538 . I have not allotted any share in my Share Khan account and I didn't receive the refund of my money to my account. When I call share khan they tell me to contact NHPC and says they are not liable for refund. Don't understand why they provide order fascility and charge commissions when they are not responsible. Sharekhan should be made accountable for this.

The basis of the allotment is already out and by this time the settlement is also done. The basis of the allotment is as follows:

In case if you fall in the Retail category who have applied for less than 700 shares, you allotment is based on the above ratio. But remember that the shortlisting was done by lottery ie., in the 175 shares applied category, out of every 51 applicants, only 17 will be allotted. Similarly for the rest of the retail under 700 applications.

However, I am really not sure about the complaints here raised by some of you who have applied for more than 700 shares. You are supposed to have got 700:190/2625:713.

I had applied for 350 NHPC shares via the Kotak Securities online IPO application system. Based on the basis of the allotment, I should have received 175 shares. However, I haven't received any!! I need to know the reason for non-allotment...

Also i haven't received my money back.
So should I consider that my money has been lost, because it's not an easy thing to get your money back from Indian Govt.
