Naukri.com — failure to deliver service as promised | |||
I purchased naukri's paid services - 'resume highlight' and was coaxed into buying its 'jobs 4 u' by ms. Anj_ _ _ singh (As), and her subordinate ms. Pall_ _ _ div_ _ (Pd).in order to push jobs 4 u, ms. As mentioned that there would be an industry expert who would review my resume and then would set up keywords to filter out suitable jobs. When i questioned that this was same as their alerts services which is free, she went on to falsely promise that there would be a dedicated person constantly monitoring the jobs i am receiving, who will take my regular feedback and will tweak the system to find more relevant jobs and will also send them manually. This sounded like a personalized and humanized service than an automated system alert. Well the reality is: 1. Naukri's fast forward services people are not industry or any kind of experts.in fact they do not even understand how the filters on the site work. - cannot differentiate between industries and functions - most recruiters for premium mba jobs on naukri don't mention salary. But if you specify a salary bracket at the time of setting your "jobs 4 u" profile, the expert blindly sets it, and you never get the jobs which has no salary mentioned. Voila 2. I have received the same jobs more than once, even if i have already applied to the job or after complaining about it. 3. There is no guarantee to the number of jobs they will send. They send it tuesday and friday. Sometimes it is 10, sometimes 1 or sometimes none. There are jobs out there because i find enough relevant ones through the alerts that i have set. Their jobs 4 u software is just dumb i believe. 4. At the time of selling, ms. As mentioned that i would receive jobs from other portal too. What a relief as i wouldn't have to waste hours finding the suitable one. But as it later turned out, they only search for jobs on company's own websites. 5. Their customer service is pathetic to be honest [2 on a scale of 10]. - after multiple requests over phone and email, ms. Anja_ _ singh is yet to talk to me. - they have a policy as per which the so called "experts" don't call you, you call them. And your paid calls can go on for as long as 1 hour. - the links for talking to ceo or the service head all are addressed by the same set of people. I don't think the ceo or the service head ever get to see those, as there's no proper escalation structure. I can go on and on. If you are a post graduate, naukri is not a portal you want to get paid services from. There are better portals such as iimjobs, linkedin, using better technology, having great customer services and targeting primarily post graduates. Beware of what the new tv advertisements tell you.
