Nestaway Technologies — Repair work of damages not completed after old tenants moved out and also deducted money for the same.

I moved in to a property on Sarjapur road managed by Nestaway mid of 2019 where there were 2 more girls staying there. From day 1 they havent been supportive or helpful at all. There was no on-boarding or off-boarding that happened for any girls moving in or moving out. The tenant who stayed here for around 5 years moved out end of 2019 and was replaced by another girl. In Jan the owner ended the lease to Nestaway and gave it to me and my family, and the other girls moved out. They deducted almost 29000 in total for all the damages caused by the previous tenants who stayed much before us. Had they did off boarding and did frequent checks this could have been avoided and we would not have suffered a huge loss of our deposit money. The girls moved out on 29th Jan and since then i had to make multiple calls, send multiple messages in a day to get the house cleaned before my family moved in. I was promised all the deep cleaning, painting and repair would be done in one day. In spite of them deducting money for everything I had to book service from urban clap and pay money from my own pockets to at least clean the bathrooms and deep cleaning of one bedroom. After requesting so much 2 guys came to sweep and mop on 1st Feb and they mentioned deep cleaning would be done only after damages are fixed which would take about a week when I was promised everything would be done in a day so that its not a hassle for the next tenants. The owner wanted me to coordinate directly since he does not live here. After so much persuasion they send the painters on 4th Feb. They did a really good job and finished the work quickly. I was told the carpenter would come on 5th Feb and finish the rest. The guy who came (Bharat) is the worst! He had already come for inspection mid of Jan and made the list and he came again on 5th around 12 pm after calling multiple times, asked me to show him the damages again and he said he would bring a carpenter with him. After calling many times he finally came around 3.30 pm only to leave for another 2 hours in the namesake of getting material. Why did he come in the afternoon and take such a huge gap to come again empty handed? By then I was calling the person in Nestaway I was coordinating with for begging for deep cleaning to be done since we wanted to unpack our stuff. I did most of the deep cleaning on my own in spite of them deducting money. He was pretty helpful and responded to all my calls and messages. Around 3k was deducted for the same but then I was informed that cleaning was already done and there was nothing more required. Why lie to me then and deduct money? The entire house was dirty and dusty due to all the painting and repair work. After arguing a team was finally send to do little bit of cleaning. They didn't do the entire house deep cleaning since they were not informed, instead they just did acid wash of the bathrooms, sink and few corners i had asked them to. The cleaning crew was really helpful and did whatever I asked them to but didn't bring the machine to clean the entire floor tiles since they had no information. The carpenter guy came back around 6pm when he should have finished his work and left by then. He was extremely dirty and damaged everything he touched. He had absolutely no idea or no knowledge about the work. Whatever he tried to fix was not working and he did such a sloppy job. Whenever I expressed my concern he tried to justify that he is right and it was supposed to work that way. Finally around 8pm I got so frustrated I asked him to leave. The next day I had to call another plumber and carpenter and spend money again to fix the damages he caused. The house was newly painted and this guy dirtied all the walls. The cleaning crew had cleaned the bathroom and this guy dirtied it again after which I had to do the cleaning all over again. I complained to nestaway to send someone else but he said he is the in charge for this matter. I gave my feedback but they aren't bothered. The nest day on 6th Feb a locksmith came too to fix the damaged locks. He was okay but it was all cheap quality stuff that he fixed and it came out or got spoiled the next day. There was chimney repair left to be done. After so many calls and messages someone came on 7th evening to change the damaged buttons. From the time he came he was just talking and trying to convince us that he could do other types of work rather than do the work he was send to do. Even he did not have the correct spare parts and did such a shoddy work and he tried to convince me to convince the owner to change the whole board that costs around 4k instead of just changing the buttons. Again after so much complaining and persuasion, he said he would go to the shop the next day and be back in 2 days to complete it. He also asked me to lie to Nestaway that his work was complete which I refused to do. He was supposed to come on 9th Feb morning to repair the chimney but never turned up. I have been calling and messaging Nestaway every day regarding this matter and all they do is tell they i would get a call and someone would come over. They deducted 2.5k for the same and they wont return it back either. 15 days have passed and now Nestaway does not even respond any more. I have had such bad experience from them. I don't know whom to contact anymore for this issue to be resolved. After following up I got the deposit money on 9th Feb, again it was send to 1 girl and I had to follow up for 3 days with her to return my share. The entire thing was so stressful.
