[Resolved] Nike India — Nike India poor customer support, they don't bother to respond to customers
Hi, Nike India doesn't bother to resolve customers concern and Nike India's customer support is poor and they are only spoiling the Global brand of Nike. Please see below letter, they didn't respond to me at all inspite of sending them reminders to respond. You only receive automated emails from Nike India.

I am writing you this letter as a long time customer of Nike, I have always purchased and recommended Nike products for regular use as well as professional sportswear. I always had a good customer sanctification when dealing with Nike products both in India as well as across the globe. This is the first time I had come across disappointing experience from Nike.
This letter of complaint is regarding a shoes purchased in Nike Store, Forum Mall, Koramangala. We initiated a complaint regarding the shoe damage and folks at store came back to me saying that that this is not a valid claim and it does not fall under manufacturing defect.
I purchased a Nike on Dec 24th 2014 and while purchasing the shoe, I had raised a question to sales man regarding the quality of the issue as i felt that outer durability wasn't that good. The Sales person at Forum Mall clearly assured me if any damage happens withing six months then I can bring the shoes back in six months time. You can do audit of few Nike stores and I am sure most of the sales person will give this assurance.
I go back to Nike Store at Forum Mall, well within six months of the date of purchase and return the shoes because of damage, the sales person was very kind and they informed me that they will send the shoes for inspection. They assured me that they will get back to me in 10 days. Nike India doesn't care to follow up with customer, after 2 weeks, I had to go to the store to follow up on the status. they said the claim was rejected as it is not a manufactured defect.
I would appreciate if you can answer my questions or justify why you had rejected my valid claim.
1, My first question is why do you need more than 2 weeks to respond to customers claim, the store mentioned that I would get a response in 10 days. Being a loyal Nike customer, I would expect an update from Nike.
2. I was told that its not manufactured defect, please look at the photo, it clearly is a material failure, cosmetics and falls under manufactured defect as mentioned in your website. If Nike trusts and cares for its customer, then i can assure that the shoe was very lightly used and the damage within six months is not acceptable.
Please kindly let me know why the shoe doesn't fall under material damage so as Global citizen we can make an effort to educate the customers.
I have highest regard of Nike customer service and once again its not about money, being a fan of Nike products, I would like to provide you with a honest feedback that your response in this claim was disappointing and doesn't meet Nike Standards. This will only bring bad reputation to Nike Store and its employees who work hard and provide excellent service.
We buy Nike Products because of Quality and excellent customer service it provides.

Nike, informed me that there was some misunderstanding in communication and they approved my claim. Thanks Nike for resolving the issue and keeping up with high customer sanctification.
