I had asked for a pickup and drop service for my car. Driver came to pickup the vehicle on said time 9:45am and at 11:45 am i got a call from service center to whatsapp my rc to get the details of the vehicle. I mentioned to him the basic complaint of changing the broken lever for adjusting the driver seat backrest, and to do a regular oil change. After that there was no communication and i had to call at 5:45pm to inquire about the car and whats the estimate. The service personal mr. Basil told me that the estimate is close to inr 7000 and on inquiring why is it so much he mentioned that charges for drycleaning, wheel alignment etc are added apart from regular service. Then i told him why this was not told to me before starting work on my car, he simply said the customer service manager will call you in five mins and your car will be delivered the next day by 1pm and hung the phone. The call never came. Next day the call came at 10:58am and the person said that we need to change the wiper blades, radiator fan, two bearings in the driver seat and the battery. On cross questioning why the radiator fan needs to be replaced he could not explain as to why, but told me it costs inr 6000/-, on telling him that the battery is only six months old and still under warranty he offered to take it to exide showroom and get it changed, for which again i refused. Eventually i told him to send the vehicle back which he said will be delivered by 1pm. The vehicle was delivered to me at 4:30pm and on checking the bill there were charges for a key chain and on checking with the delivery driver who cross checked with the service advisor, i was told to less the amount from the total bill and settle the bill. The bill had cleaning charges of inr 800 but the car was not cleaned properly and there was dust inside the door comparments. Not only the service center tried to cheat me by putting extra charges in my bill of key chain, they also did not rectify my basic complan of driver seat broken adjustable lever. They also failed to take consent of the estimated charges before starting the service of my car.
I feel cheated by this service station and also overcharged for a basic service of oil change.
Service stations like these only bring about bad reputation to nissan india, i'll be thinking twice before buying a nissan vehicle again.
