Respected sir/madam I have applied for PAN data correction for my wife, acknowledgement number 'N-[protected]' submitted all required documents for that but now APPLICATION TRACKING INFORMATION SHOWING THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE AS- Your request for 'New PAN card and/or Change/Correction in PAN Data' has been marked for audit by ITD and sent back to NSDL for examination' SO WHAT DOES ABOVE MESSAGE MEANS, IS THERE ANY PROBLEMS IN MY PAN DATA CORRECTION OR WHAT ? WHEN WILL BE MY APPLICATION PROCESSED AND WHEN WILL I GET MY CORRECTED PAN, AT LEAST BY MAIL? PLEASE KINDLY CLEAR THIS ISSUE, I URGENTLY NEEDS MY WIFES PAN FOR IMPORTANT WORK, WHEN ASKED TO NSDL CUSTOMER CARE NO.
