I am really disappointed by the response from ola regarding this matter. I booked a ride from noida to india gate with crn no: [protected] for my parents. After completing ride, money deducted from my postpaid wallet and my parents paid the cash to driver too as the driver demanded the on the spot cash payment.
If ola couldn't refund the amount due to their policy restrictions, in that case i also want to mention few things:
Firstly, my parents were travelling in that cab who lies in senior citizen category. After drop off, the cab driver took the money by threatning them and stating that if they will not give the cash he wouldn't let them leave. This kind of harrashing behavior is not we accept from ola drivers.
Secondly, apart from the inconvenience suffered by my parents, this might be the issue related to ola app. The amount deducted from my postpaid wallet and didn't show up in driver's app that the ride hase been paid already. So i request ola to process the refund for this ride.
Thirdly, if ola is questioning about the cash given or not, there were cctv cameras all over the road near the drop off point. All scene would have recorded in those cameras.
These experiences will definitely hamper the trust that we as consumer have in ola.
