On 07.10.2020 at 5:10 pm, on booking of ride I was shown estimated fare of Rs.525. Before ending my ride I edited my drop location (which is merely 2-3kms away from previous dropping point).Now fare got updated to RS.590 and I paid Rs.590 to Ola (Ani Technologies) through online mode (card).
Now at end of ride my ola app showed fare of Rs.751( which is incomparably higher than estimated fare). I paid Rs.751 in cash to driver as well.I tried to reach Ola support system before making payment but I was unable to reach them.
I registered my complaint same day with Ola i.e. on 07.10.2020 through call and then next day on 08.10.2020 through mail as well. Its been 8 long days for me but I have not received not even a single call from OLA support team nor any mail regarding solution to my issue .
I am now facing three problems:-
1.Deduction of Rs. 590 from my account as I paid my estimated fare through card.It has been credited to Ani Technologies .
2. Incomparably higher fare of Rs. 751 at end of ride where estimated fare was Rs. 525 (which shifted to Rs. 590 when I edited my destination which is merely a 2-3 km distance).
3.No response from Ola support system. I was told that my problem will be resolved within 48 hrs.(chat attached) but no response from Ola team till date.
I would here request Ola (Ani Technologies) to refund the excess amount paid to them (Rs.590 online +Rs.160 excess of estimated fare).
