Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — Extremely bad matches and ola share and not refunding of complaint | |||||
So, I booked Ola share today 23, march 2017 at 7:55 am from Hiranandani Estate Thane to Malad West (Infinity Mall). At this time, it takes around 50-55 mins everyday to reach. When the cab reached my place around 8:01 am, I hopped in and provided OTP to start my ride. There were already 2 people travelling, so I asked about their drop location. Both were travelling to Chandivali, which is 1 hour from my place and completely in opposite direction from my work place (Malad west). That would mean travelling extra an hour and then take 50 mins route to reach my office location. So instead of total travel time of 50-55 mins, I would end up travelling nearly 2 hours !! How fair is that??? I complaint to driver to let me get down, and cancel my ride. He said I would need to lodge complain with Ola; as it was Ola's mistake for matching the route. I got down and complaint to Ola, they provided me complain ticket of 40476697 and agreed of the bad match, but wrote that its cause of google map. and refused to refund the amount. I spent 300 INR in ola share ride without taking the ride. And OLA completely disagreed to refund my amount. That would mean Ola will have authority to just match people in share with any route that they could think of, take money and either drop people 1 hour late than expected travel time or eat up the money if traveler gets down out of frustration.
