I bookred a car rental one day in advance for today 9-20 am which was needed for board exam of my family member. Ola takes rs.100/- extra for advance booking. Today they gave me driver details at 9.10 am. But at 9.20 am, when we are ready to start, i found that the ride is cancelled. I have paid excess rs.100/-earlier for advance booking and we are ready to pay it as we know that we may not get it last moment. But ola neither informed me, nor made an alternative arrangement. I had no option to book it again on ride now option. It gave a car which was 20 minutes or more distant from my home. After calling twice to the driver, i realized that we cannot wait any further for board exam and i cancelled the trip. Now ola charged rs.50/- for that cancellation. Now if we book in advance and ola claims rs.100/- for that, why it will not make any alternative arrangement or compensation for that. Instead, they are compelled us to rebook as we do not have any option. Then gives a car which will come after 15-20 minutes late and then it will charge from us? Was this information helpful? |
