I have been using OLA to a fixed destination on a daily basis since 13.05.2019, wherein I travel from home to office and back.
I have two cell numbers – [protected] & [protected], and usually I use the first number.
On 07.06.2019, as there was some issue with my first number, I used the second number to book the cab from office to home. Whenever I book a cab, I first check the fare and then book the cab.
On 07.06.2019, I checked the fare, which was Rs.346 and confirmed my booking, but when the cab was allotted to me, the cab details were displayed but not the fare, which is never seen before, and hence, I immediately called up the customer care, and when I enquired, the executive informed me that the fare is not displayed and would be displayed once you complete the trip. To my shock, when I completed the trip, the fare was shown as Rs.1080.00, instead of Rs.346, which was shocking, and as I did not want to penalize the cab driver, I just paid the amount displayed and let the cab go. I immediately called up the customer care, and the executive informed me that the information provided by the earlier executive regarding non-display of fare is incorrect and you should have cancelled the trip, but as the cab had already arrived, I just rushed, as I NEVER THOUGHT THAT OLA WOULD CHEAT ME.
