Hi Team, This is regarding my trip no CRN[protected] from Hyd airport to Gachibowli. I booked a rental. It showed estimated cost of Rs.629 as airport transfer. But when I reached destination, to my surprise I was asked to pay Rs.999!!. + on way I paid Rs.40 for toll to driver.
When I checked bill- They had added Rs. 225 for "Transport hub charge". While booking nowhere it was mentioned. It was a known cost. Ola intentionally did not show this cost to lure customer to sit in cab and force to pay later.
They added insurance as default. They have intentionally designed application such that this cost gets added by mistake easily. I never wanted it. I removed it once, but again you search, again it gets added.
They charged me Rs 40 toll twice. Once driver asked and took from me when paying to toll and again when I reached destination, I was asked to pay 999, which included this charge.
I called their customer care and told everything. To my disappointment they just reverted Rs.40 that too in their app. I told them I dont want to their app again, revert in my bank account but I got reply " This issue is resolved".
I request consumer court to step-in and study my case and put harsh penalties on such companies.
It is not just about the money but harassment that such companies do. Government should keep a tight check on such app as they are clearly cheating customers multiple ways.
