Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — regarding the issue with the excessive cash collected by the driver | |||||
Hello, I do not know why ola have stopped trusting its customers, this is the second time i am travelling with ola. I was a permanent customer for the uber but seems i have to switch over again to uber. Yesterday i had a ride to noida to my company, i selected cash mode of payment, i added money in the ola wallet after the trip has been started, the driver told me you have to pay in cash as ola money will not work as you have added the money after the trip has been started. At the end of the trip i was getting late for my meeting, i gave the cash to the driver and got out. I found i have paid double as my ola money was also deducted from my wallet i paid rs 1300 for rs 646 trip. The right approach - the driver should have called back and gave back the payment right away for the cash taken. Now when the investigation is going on the driver has denied on call, that he has not got any cash payment and the company believed it, rather then believing its customer on the first had basis, they have shown there loyalty towards the driver who has lied. In order to earn money, the drivers do lie and the company trust them blindly, not its customers which should be there first priority.
