Ola Money — I paid extra cash to my driver during an outstation ride

I raised a complaint through my ola app regarding the issue on last monday may 13, 2019. I have been following up daily with them, but till today i am awaiting resolution from their.

Issue to quote is that i had booked ola outstation ride last weekend (11 to 13 may), where i ended up paying extra rs. 1500/- cash to the driver and now the driver is denying to have received excess cash. Ola support did reply to me stating that driver confirmed that cash was not collected for the ride as the mode of payment was ola money postpaid and ola money wallet. To which i wrote back to them entire episode as mentioned below:-

He had demanded cash payment mode at the start of the trip itself.. However since i had already chosen ola money as payment mode, we informed him likewise.. Please note that i had booked the ride on my father’s behalf and hence mobile app was not available with him to check payment mode break up.. I was not aware that ola post paid money was activated and will be used as second mode.. Considering estimated fare for the ride and ola money had some short balance... Hence for fuel refill we offered him cash based on approx calculation for the balance to be paid.. Later while ending the ride he informed my father that he adjusted 1500/- cash paid in total bill and hence the balance now reflecting as ‘0’.. But now i see the balance is charged to me under post paid option.. Please refund my money back and discontinue the post paid services.. It is misleading and cheating on customer.. Helping someone on humanitarian ground has costed me good rs. 1500/-
It’s not just the matter of money but more of integrity!!!
If this is not resolved i will take the matter to consumer court...

Please call me along with driver in conference in case you want any further clarifications

Please help escalate this matter and resolve it at the earliest!!!
