Ola driver charged ₹500 permit from Pondy to Chennai. From Chennai to Pondy the driver charged ₹300. In both cases, permit was never obtained by driver. The worst part is it is not even possible to register complaint with Ola app. It will simply say that rider has to settle with driver. Drivers in Chennai and Pondy are very corrupt. But Ola does not accept responsibility for their drivers. Ola has to be made accountable. It is a big scandal and Ola is intentionally looking the other way.

Updated by sriniraghav67 Ola must be forced to accept responsibility for their drivers’ actions. It is very telling and self explanatory that we cannot even register a complaint on the app regarding the fleecing of customers by the conscience-less cabbies in the name of permit charges in the route of Pondy to Chennai. Ola must act if it is concerned about customer well-being.
