One97 Communications — Product components missing | |||||
I have placed an online purchase order to buy Sony BX1 rechargeable battery + Battery Charger BC-CSX for a price of Rs. 856 with M/S One97 Communications Limited (which runs their site/platform/network by the name Paytm and Head Quartered at: B-121, Sector 5, Noida – 201 301, India) on 24th February, 2016, against Order No.: [protected]. I have paid for the above using their Paytm Wallet which is owned by M/S One97 Communications Limited. However, when I received the parcel on 27th February, 2016, there was only Sony BX1 rechargeable battery present in the parcel. Battery Charger BC-CSX was not present in the parcel I received. I had informed this to the company immediately and they had repaid me Rs. 200 for the missing charger. I had then asked the company if I place an other order with them for the same product will I receive both the battery and charger this time or not. They replied me that I would receive both and also apologized for the earlier trouble they had caused to me. Based on this I had placed a fresh order with them and informed them that I have placed a second order (Order No.: [protected]) and also asked them to confirm whether both the items are present in the parcel or not. For which they had replied that they have checked the parcel, however when I received the parcel, again the charger was missing. I had raised the issue with them and also asked them to take back their product. For which after due considerations they said they would take back the product and would pay Rs. 300 as an apology token for troubling me for so long. However, when they paid me back my apology token they had paid only Rs. 100 saying that the other Rs. 200 is adjusted with the Rs. 200 which they had paid me for the missing charger of my first order ([protected]). Since the Rs. 200 which I had received earlier was for the missing charger and not an apology token I cannot accept that adjustment of Rs. 200 they had made with the apology token. I would like to place a CHEATING and HARASSMENT case on the above company for troubling me for 2 weeks and request the concerned authority to take action against them.
