[Resolved]  Oriental Bank Of Commerce — delay in policy claim no. 21806731

Since march 2020 follow but no satisfaction reply from oriental insurance company, no one understand my concern, issue with obc bank & oriental insurance company please support in this our issue
My self check with obc bank burari branch, branch manager told me the document send by hand to karol bagh branch on 9-2-2018. But i don't know about the karol bagh branch which is sent to oriental insurance janpath delhi office.
In case the responsible karol bagh branch for delay provides a document to you, why is it suffering me..
Request to you kindly check with obc karol bagh branch & obc burari branch

I wanted to draw your attention on one of the unethical rejection of my claim by one of the well known prestigious insurance company i. E. The oriental insurance co ltd.

I have availed one insurance policy wide policy no - 272900/48/2018/27553 where the premium was paid by self dated on 08-feb-18 through dd (Bank statement is enclosed for your kind reference showing the debit entries on the premium amount on the same date in my account) however the policy was issued by the company dated on 19-feb-18.

About three months back dated on 17th feb 2020 when i'll have to admit my wife to the hospital for some treatment related to hypthyroidim, endometrial hyperplasia with polyp i have applied for cashless claim which has been rejected by giving the reason of 2 years waiting period which is not over as was short of just 2 days but parallel they have mentioned in their mail i. E. "cashless can't be entertained, please come for reimbursement with proper documents" (Mail communication is enclosed for your kind reference).

Now when i have submitted all the documents for reimbursement of my claim it has again rejected by giving the same reason i. E. "2 years waiting period was not served in the policy".

Here i am not satisfied with their ground of rejection considering:
If i have completed all my formalities and made payments on 8-feb-18 then is it my fault as they have taken time of around 11 days in issuing the policy to me??
If that 2 years waiting is that must condition then they would have told me clearly in the mail instead of giving me the option of coming through reimbursement. if that will be communicated well before me then i must have look for some other option of treatment or might have postpone that treatment for two more days.
It is all look like they have to reject the claim so they are rejecting without understanding all the facts and circumstances.
The amount might not be a big amount for the company but will be a very huge amount for me and i am sure with your intervention and support the insurance company would have to clear my claim.
