I had booked an oyo accommodation from 6th to 11th september 2019 at oyo 11722 crystal guest house through the oyo app on 4th of september and fully paid the amount of rs 5413 (Through credit card) in the name of mrs soma chatterjee. The payment and accommodation was confirmed by oyo through booking id: aqgr8954. However, upon arrival on 6th september, the hotel denied check-in citing the reason that "the hotel is already fully booked". The pathetic customer service kept on fooling about solving the issue for more than 3 hours whilst mrs some kept waiting at the reception under tremendous mental stress. This was at 8 pm and finally oyo's insensitive customer service offered an alternate accommodation 2 kilometers away from the location without providing any arrangements for her travel. She preferred a refund instead. However, an amount of rs 602 was deducted as cancellation charges. When i called the customer care again to complain the deduction of cancellation charges since the entire fault was oyo's and not ours, i was lied that the entire amount would be refunded. However, the latest email and refund message from my credit card suggest that only an amount rs 4808 has been refunded and the cancellation charges of rs 602 has been deducted. Apart from the refund of the cancellation charges, i want a cheating case to be filed against oyo and that ms. Soma chatterjee be compensated with rs. 1 lakh for being harrassed and mentally tortured by oyo for more than 3 hours. Supporting can be provided upon request
