Please take this complaint seriously.
I had made a bulk booking at the 15228 property of 13 double & 14 triple sharing rooms on 17th Aug. Following are some issues that made our stay very very unpleasant-
1. The rooms were not given to us on time. Guests had to wait in the lobby till 2:30. While we had told Anurag and Vijay that our guests will start coming in by 12.
2. WE WERE ASKED TO MAKE ALL PAYMENT IN ADVANCE - Anurag suggested the without full payment they cannot give us room and no food will be made available for the guests for Lunch and next morning. We made the advance payment at 10 AM in cash.
3. Since there was management and guests had to wait for hours outside I called Anurag to check on what Is the issue and how it can be solved. The sales person Mr. Anurag stopped picking my calls. Never even replied back despite calling him multiple times.
3. We were told to be patient with only 4 staff members trying to to cater to 45 guests with only 4 rooms being made available on time.
4. The utensils were only to serve 30 guests while we had told them in advance (also payed for food in advance) that we will have 45 members eat lunch on 17th Aug. Our guests had to reach out to kitchen to fetch chapatis, dal and other things
5. The food vendor blamed the property and there was no one at the property to take that blame.
6. We had informed the property that we will need 14 triple sharing rooms but the provision for extra beds were done for only 5 rooms only.
Earlier we had very good experience of Oyo but based on this experience, I will never recommend anyone to buy your rooms in bulk. Very unpleasant experience and unprofessional behaviour at your behalf.
Our entire event left a very bad taste.
