I had booked oyo for my family trip with 10 members with me which included children and women. Since the day of booking i was constantly asking the oyo people to provide a phone number of owner to confirm my booking. They did provide it though but it was switched off all the time but oyo people told me repeatedly they were happy to host me.
21st june
I went to chandigarh with my entire family to the hotel in morni chandigarh. The hotel owner denied entry on the basis the contract with oyo has ended on 17th june. None of the oyo spokesperson helped me instead one of them told me what's the big deal. I was left stranded in a desolated place with my entire family. I had to book the same hotel with double amount which i paid to oyo. I talked to legal cell of oyo and they told me they receive 100 of complaints like this and they were not concerned of law because they have very cunningly inserted a clause in where they are entitled to offer only the booking amount not damages.
They shall pay the damages also and mental harrasment i had to face. My entire trip was ruined by oyo and their customer care exec's. Although legally i might be bound but i will start a social media campaign against oyo and will tell more and more people not to book oyo ever in thier lives Was this information helpful? |
