[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — Got cheated with OYO by paying full amount and didn't got the rooms

WE 4 partners had booked 2 classic rooms with OYO at the hotel ALFA GRAND, near Asalpha metro station, Andheri East Mumbai on 18th July 2022, Booking ID is OJ077462 by paying the full amount of RS 2266. when we get there at the hotel the receptionist asked us to pay RS 1400 additional for getting the room, we spoke to Mr Dilawer to OYO guy over phone several times but he was not able to rectify the same, we were waiting outside the hotel in the rain nearly 2 and half hours and the Oyo guy was talking to other hotels to accommodate us and the attempts are in vain. I handed over the phone to the hotel manager to speak to the oyo guy, he shouted with the OYO guy for not confirming the booking and taking the payment directly from the customer and as per their wish and will and asked that whether he had committed this deal for this amount and the OYO guy had no answers. We had gone for a business deal in Mumbai, after 30 hours of travel, we were very much tired and without even taking a shower and changing our dress, we are not able to attend the meeting with the client, and already we had spent too much time waiting for the room and we were very much late to attend the meeting and the meeting got cancelled because of the negligence from the OYO team. We had to stay another 4 days again in Mumbai to meet the client, for this we had to spent around 20, 000 Rs for the food and accommodation of the 4 people. This is the second time we are having a weird experience from the OYO team, and we had incurred a huge loss because of only reason that we had opted the OYO rooms. Even after 6 days I did not received the refund amount, or even a courtesy call from the
OYO people, and I have all the recordings of the phone calls which I had with each of the OYO executives. If I didn't get my refund by Monday, i will be forced to move legally and will ensure that social media's will cover up the same at the earliest. Expecting an immediate and favorable action from your side.
