[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — refund and cheating

I am writing this after almost 10 days (Almost 248 hours) since i raised my first ticket. Within the last 10 days i have called oyo for more than 15 times talked to 15 different oyo experience manager and my oyo captain mr. Virender and it seems like no one is listening to me.

See first of all my issues are multiple:

1. Denied check-in: sn resort is no longer associated with oyo, yet oyo gave us a booking at this place. The guys at sn resort refused to accommodate us and oyo made us wait on "hold" for more than 2 hours. Oyo captain virender didn't help us either. Oyo app gave us 4 other options out of which one was in dharamshala (Our booking was in upper dharamshala), one had only one room (We booked 4) and the rest two were not oyo's lease. That means again you people cheated. Giving us choices to shift the hotel but there was no choice given to us. We accommodated ourselves in a nearby hotel after waiting for 2 hours and traveling for 12 hours. Oyo captain virender told us to do one thing that book and non-oyo hotel yeah that was his help for us. I was there with y family. This whole experience was so humiliating like literally, we have paid the half amount and after that, we were not allowed to check-in. This is your service. If i'm paying the half amount i have every right to stay in the hotel. I was literally harassed and humiliated in front of the hotel. Pathetic service.

2. Money refund: after all that fuss we have to searched for another hotel and lost the almost half precious day. Here i am with my friends and family searching for a hotel 500 km away from my home. Just think about the safety of my family at least. For that day we had triund trek planned but we were not able to go there as we were searching for a hotel. All thanks to oyo team. We lost money and time. Now after almost 6 days after the booking, you people were not even refunding my pre-booking amount, saying that we checked in at 3 pm, even though their customer executive called the sn resort guys at 11 am and he clearly stated we won't accept our booking. After multiple calls yesterday you people initiated the refund of amount 4517/- but my pre-booking amount is 5048/-. I'm just saying give me my money back and compensate for the humiliation and inconvenience i have been through.

3. Lies: oyo team told me that i checked-in at 3 pm on 19th april and check-out on 20th morning. But that's a lie i didn't check-in. Shows you people are full of lies and shows you don't care about your guest safety whether they are there or not. I can't trust you guys.

I was there with my family for 3 nights out of which i spent 3 hours talking to oyo people. Do you really think that with this kind of customer experience you can provide state of the art experience for your guests? I have heard very high of oyo in the past but this experience has changed everything for me.
Service is pathetic. Yeah, that's the word.
For 10 days you are not able to resolve my issue.

Main crux is that oyo says it's hotel mistake. Hotel people says that it's oyo's fault and here i'm suffering in between.

You have really disappointed me.
Would never ever ever use oyo.

Reasons i deserve compensation and i want compensation.

1. The humiliation and harassment i have been through at the hotel when i was denied check-in even after paying pre-booking amount.
2. Oyo's lies and cheating: you people offered me 4 options to shift the hotel which was a lie as oyo app gave us 4 other options out of which one was in dharamshala (Our booking was in upper dharamshala), one had only one room (We booked 4) and the rest two were not oyo's lease.
3. Delay in refund: listen i paid 5048/- as a pre-booking amount and i still haven't got my money back. I have called more than 15 times. I have all the recording and messages.

5. Triund trek: before reaching the place on 19th april i had already made booking for my trek. But because of oyo's pathetic service and they didn't provide us with the hotel. We had to search for the hotel and lost almost half a day. So our booking was cancelled and we lost money as well as time.

All in all, i deserve compensation for the humiliation i faced, because of you people lost my money and time, you lied to me in my face and delay in the refund process.

I'll tell you my details as i don't think so you guys are using any kind of crm software.

No, My complaint haven't been resolved. I got a call and then email from Mayank Saksena, Guest Experience Manager, Online Reputation Management, mayank.[protected]@oyorooms.com. In the mail it was written that I'll get a link within 72 hours to fill my bank details to transfer the refund. I got the email on 8th May 2019. It has been more than a month but I haven't received the link or the refund. I wrote 2 emails to Mr. Mayank but all in vain.
Here they say they have resolved the issue but in reality no steps have been taken. Stop fooling people. Stop cheating people. Just stop. Pathetic customer service. Pathetic company.
