I have booked a room in 'SPOT ON 37766 Hotel Aastha' in Muzaffapur, Bihar for my guest/relative with booking id- 'VFCE8542' and made the payment of INR 1299/- online in advance. On reaching the hotel, they denied check-in saying they do not have any association with OYO.
In order to accommodate my guest, I tried booking another nearby hotel 'Hotel Sanskar' through OYO but this time I chose not to pay in advance, this hotel also denied check-in citing same reason of not having any association with OYO and again INR 109 was deducted by OYO for cancellation. At last, I had to book another hotel myself by directing reaching there (without OYO).
Since the hotel checkin in 'SPOT ON 37766 Hotel Aastha
was not denied, I have contacted OYO customer support 5-7 times for refunding my money but no success so far, its been close to 4 months. The last complaint ticket no is '16681445' as on 15 June 2019.
Before writing this complaint, today also I tried reaching oyo support team twice and they kept me on hold saying they will connect me to the escalation manager but the line got abruptly disconnected after being on hold for 8-10 minutes twice. Further, I did not receive any call back. I also submitted a complaint today on OYO website (helpdesk) but did not receive any acknowledgement over email or call.
