[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — unethical staff criminal behaviour cheating 420

Last year myself and wife booked oyo ahmadabad and on check in one person in reception who was operating the computer and who took our id proof and did the check in formalities said that i should pay cash. I refused and said that since i did not have enough cash i would like to pay by card, but he said card swipe machine was not working. Since i was going to stay for long, i asked whether i can pay by netbanking. He accepted and gave bank a/c details. When i asked why a/c was in personal name - all this happened in front of all staff in main reception during checking process - he said oyo arrangement is that guest pays the hotel and not oyo. I transferred funds and he confirmed receipt my family was allowed us to stay for many days. After sometime, since service was reasonable i booked again same oyo after speaking to the hotel. They confirmed and one mr. Pankaj patidar asked me to send the money. I paid. Subsequently, as stay was getting longer i was asked for another payment and i transferred to the name registered in my net banking of hdfc bank i. E. Purshottam patidar. Then pankaj phoned and informed that 2nd payment rs/12000 not received. I gave details of transfer for which he said "sir, the person purshottam patidar is not related to us/oyo you have made wrong payment please resend" i did not have no. Of purshottam and got from pankaj who said he knows purshottam who was previous oyohotel owner. Now i tried speaking to purshottam at least 100 times, and was successful only 3 times. He did not answer phone. A lady claiming to be his sister spoke saying that some family member was not well and once he is back in ahmadabad he will refund. Subsequently, this same lady now changed her tone and shouted saying that its my mistake and i have to wait indefinitely as purshottam was out of job and once gets his job and salary he will return the money. I managed to speak to purshottam 2/3 times, and he promised, but no action. I kept begging. Pankaj spoke to him many times and asked him to return the money. I would like to put this entire episode on twitter, facebook and also make a police complaint against oyo. Before this, i would like you to do a thorough investigation and ascertain :
1. Whether all my oyo booking /stay money has been paid
2. Identity of purshottam
3. How can oyo help me get my money back?
