[Resolved] Panasonic — 1.5 ton split ac

Good day Sir/Mam, i am Nitai Mittal resident of Agra and i want to file a complaint against Panasonic India. I purchased a 1.5 t split ton on 11/4/2012 model no. UC 18 NKY. After the winter season of 2012/13 we got the first service done by the Panasonic people itself. After using it for a few days in April we realized that the ac wasn't having any cooling effect and when we called the Panasonic people they told us that the gas has leaked and there are problems with the coil. They told that the whole unit would have to be changed and estimated cost would be around 10, 000 INR. Since that time we have done 4 gas fillings and 2 gas leak repairs. We spend another lot of money on such things and all because Panasonic supplied a faulty product which hardly worked fine for 6 months excluding the winter Season of 2012/13.It is anyway difficult for a middle class family to get something as costly as an air conditioner and if companies provide them such faulty products then it is customer who for years faces the problems and the costs to get such things repaired. I hereby request you Sir/Mam to please take immediate action against the concerned party and also provide us with a new product and repatriations for the problems we have faced over the past 2 years. after coming in contact with panasonic and putting a lot of pressure on the companies top official's of north india area they took hte indoor unit of the ac and renewed and replaced with a new unit all on thier expenses.
