I'd purchased 'Panasonic 20 L Solo Microwave Oven (NN-SM25JBFDG, Black)' in Apr'22 from Amazon. In Aug, it started showing troubles - no heating, blasting sounds inside etc. Called up customer care and they assigned someone. He came and replaced the magnetron. 30 mins after he left, again there was a blast inside. Called him again, and he advised to operate at the highest power level. Next day it stopped working and after reporting again, a second guy came (31-Aug) and said the magnetron & cavity both are damaged and need to be replaced.
That's where the real harassments started. I was told it will take 3 days to get the parts as they need to come from Gurgaon to Bangalore. I called after 3 days - he said talk to the office. I called the office[protected] and they said another 3 days. Each time a different guy picks up the phone and says some story. Called their helpline[protected] again and every time they create a new ticket and then close it.
Finally managed to get the area sales manager - a Srinath Joshi[protected]. He promised another 3 days and then after 3 days said another 3 days. After that he stopped taking my calls. Tried escalating, but in vain. Finally got the regional manager's reference from their support center - a Bhupendra Singh ([protected]). He at least didnt give any assurances - he just doesnt take my calls and bother to listen to me. The regional manager has set an example of how badly to treat a customer and no wonder the entire team is so incompetent and a bunch of liars.
It's been more than a month now that I am trying to get my product repaired, but Panasonic has such low standards of customer service that I have lost hope. I strongly advise to not buy Panasonic products. It had a brand name indicating quality, but now is being managed by a bunch of liars. Was this information helpful? |
