[Resolved] Panind — applied for data correction and more than 20 days gone without response | |||||
I applied for my name and address correction at panind portal on 11th of june, 2019 and made the payment too. The orderid is si-[protected]cr which was conveyed by email on the same date. I sent the duly signed form and copy of aadhar card for proof via courier on 13th june 2019 and it was delivered on 14th of june, 2019. I also received a confirmation mail about receipt of documents from them on 17th of june, 2019. It stated the following: Dear siddharth singh, We would like to inform you that we have received your pan application form hard copy. Please find your status below : Status : application received. Documents under verification We have received your documents. Our document verification team will review your documents which you sent. If there will be anything which needs to be confirmed, our team will contact you else your coupon number will be generated and sent to you on your registered email. For any issues, you can always drop us an email at email : [protected]@panind.com This was the last communication that i received from them and after that there is no response or any communication from their side. Apart from this, i have sent 2 mails requesting for estimated time taken for correction of pan card details normally, dated 11th june and 20th june. The response i got via automated email was Hello, We have received your e-mail. We will get in touch with you within next 3-4 working days if required. Note : due to bulk clearance and load on servers there might be an additional delay. Our executives are trying their best to get in touch with you. Thanks Regards, Team - panind Email : [protected]@panind.com I tried calling their helpline too but when asked, they gave me the same reply it was mentioned in their email. Even after 20 plus days, there is no response, no update and no movement on things. This is when they are charging such premium on such small services Was this information helpful? | |||||

Inconvenience caused is highly regretted. As you may be aware, Income Tax Department (ITD) has authorized only two entities viz., 1. NSDL e-Gov and 2. UTIITSL for providing PAN related services on its behalf. Further, NSDL e-Gov or ITD has not appointed www.panind.com nor provided any authorization for providing PAN related services. Kindly note that all the PAN related data is exclusively property of customers and ITD.
