[Resolved] Panind — charging more than the price prescribed by govt | |||
I had applied for change of name in pan card through panind site, they charged me 499rs where as ideally it should be just 110rs. I wonder why they are charging privately for a govt work. Its just nt me anyone searching in the net for change of pancard, unfortunately its the first result to be shown, please take some action against it so that no more people are being cheated, afterall we all know the value of money, don't we? Inconvenience caused is highly regretted. As you may be aware, Income Tax Department (ITD) has authorized only two entities viz., 1. NSDL e-Gov and 2. UTIITSL for providing PAN related services on its behalf. Further, NSDL e-Gov or ITD has not appointed PANIND.com nor provided any authorization for providing PAN related services. Kindly note that all the PAN related data is exclusively property of customers and ITD.
