Passport Office Delhi — passport not sent for police verification

I had applied for renewal of my passport at herald house passport office new delhi but it's been more than three weeks but my passport has not been sent for police verification. I have contacted all possible office numbers but no one seems to know the answer. I need to travel abroad urgently next month kindly update my passport status. Thanks
