[Resolved] Pavers England — Double Vat Charging | |||
I had visited Pavers England Showroom in Fouram Mall today. They had a discount sale and astonishing i found that the products prices were Including all Taxes and still they were adding 14% VAT on the product. When i protested they said we have been charging like this only. Eg. Product is for Rs.4000 incl all Taxes and with discount its Rs.2000 but 14% VAT is still added. We customers are being fooled. We understand your concern regarding charging additional VAT on discounted products, whereas please be informed that Pavers England does not include VAT in offer price for the products which are on sale. Hence VAT is charged separately. Communication for the same has been displayed at the stores.
The amount collected as VAT, which is captured under separate head in the invoice is paid to the government as per rules. In case of any further queries/feedback please feel free to write to [protected]@paversengland.com. We would be happy to resolve your queries further, if any.
