Paytm — money deducted but beneficiary not benefited

I had done the payment of an amount of rs.450 for jee mains examination fees through upi but even on completion of successful payment and deduction of money from my account i recieved a message of successful pyment from paytm with reference id :[protected]. But the payment page of jee didn't reflect any successful payment. Where did my money go then?
