PayUMoney — Unauthorized transaction

To PayU Nodal Officer Subject:- Complaint about an unauthorized transaction Respected sir/madam, This is to inform you that my name is Atulkumar Solanki and I hold a salary account in axis bank. My account number is xxxx59 and I have also a My Zone Credit Card from axis bank. my credit card number is xxxx xxxx xxxx 6660, I am working in health department in Government of Gujarat as a multi purpose health care worker. recently I served the nation in covid-19 pandemic as a corona warrior. I am writing this to bring into your concern that on 04/04/2022 at 06:11 pm a fraud transaction of 98000/- INR was debited from my credit card with a transaction number [protected]. I received a call from axis bank official helpline number [protected] the same was mentioned in my credit card back side, it was done on 04/04/2022 in call the guys said you are a premium customer from our axis bank so our bank offer an one good deal for you, so I reply what was the deal? he said your reward point is convert in to cash in your credit card account so I reply how’s is this possible? Than guy said some premium customer only get this special offer. I thinking deeply and trusted this guy because he called from axis banks official helpline number. He said open the Google chrome internet browser and write (rewardzpoints.in ) then I opened this link and Axis bank Official web page would be opened further he said click on the apply now option and feel the data so I entered my full name, date of birth, credit card number and my resident address and submitted the link so he said in 24 hours your
reward points was credited in to your account and then call get disconnected in this entire periods credit card was in my possession then suddenly I noted my phone’s behavior was changed I feel that my phone was hacked by someone. So after 20 minutes I restarted my phone and checked my axis mobile application. Than I confirmed that in my mind fraud transaction was done in my credit card. I hereby confirm and sure that I have not initiated the above said transaction and even I didn’t share any type of OTP/CVV to caller, also I didn’t received any OTP and transaction information via texts messages. further I have blocked my card and complained in national cyber crime department in same day and visited my nearest Axis Bank branch on 05/04/2022 for resolve this issue. I have submitted fraud transaction complaint in branch with all necessary measurements. I have also mailed to your PayU email id on 8th April 2022, I would request you to give me a chargeback in my axis credit card account, I shall be highly served if you help me out with this issue and let me know when the clear this disputed transaction, we are live in a medium economical condition and medium life line with medium social society with limited small income, me and my whole family suffering to much from this unwanted problem came in to our life. 98000/- amount was too high for us we can’t get afford this. Due to my financial conditions, I am not able to afford this type of fraud transaction. In the past few years my family has suffered a huge loss, and we have come to be on the list of low-income families. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Hi, we are really sorry about this and totally understand your concern over here. We'd suggest you to raise this immediately to the Cyber Cell office and they shall assist you further. Please note, that all transactions processed through PayU payment gateway are processed with a Two-factor authentication mechanism. All the transaction/s are processed only after the 2nd-factor confirmation like OTP/PIN/Online password from the customer’s end. Also, there is very less probability of stopping/reversing such transactions. Never share your card number, CVV, PIN, OTP, Internet Banking User ID & Password and UPI details with anyone via any means. Sharing these details can lead to unauthorized access to your account and PayU will not be liable for any loss arising due to any such unauthorized transaction/s. In this unforeseen situation if you need the details of the transaction/s or want this to be investigated further, please raise your query to the nearest Cyber cell office and they shall facilitate you on the further process.
