Pgi Chandigarh — rude and ill-mannered doctor

Dear sir,
I accompanied one of my relatives to your pre-transplant
Room in nephrology department on 1st nov., 18 in the clinic of dr.
Vivekananda jha. My relatives had come from outstation and having
Treatment for renal failure. We were asked to go outside the room
And only the persons, conversant with the ailment should be there.
Well, good enough. Only the patient with his mother who is my younger
Sister remained in the room. When they came out, i enquired about the
Advice of the doctor. They could not explain well about the test
Written on the margin, as also complained about the irresponsible
Behaviour of the resident lady doctor who attended them. So i
Thought proper to go again to enquire from the doctor concerned about
The medicines and the tests. When she was free after counselling a patient, i entered the
Room for query. I was shocked at her behaviour. She shouted at me
Like any thing saying that she had also to attend other patients not
Ours only and shunted us out.

We came out wondering, is she a doctor of a prestigious
Institution or just an illiterate woman who does not know how to
Behave with a senior citizen like me. I wonder how pgi selects such
Ill-mannered, rude, irresponsible, arrogant and short tempered
Doctors who are giving a bad name to the institution. At least she
Should have respected a senior person, double her age. Did i make a
Mistake to enquire about medicines /tests? I never experienced such
A treatment from any of your faculties as i had been visiting pgi for
The last 10 years in different clinics. I had interaction with other
Very senior doctors of the institution like dr. Kartar singh, head
Neurology deptt., dr. Jagat ram, head ophtology deptt., now director,
Dr. (Prof) ashok gupta, dr. R, ramachandran etc. Etc.

The resident doctor was not wearing her usual coat
Having her name otherwise i would have given her name too.in place
Of dr. Jha, another lady dr. Bhavna was there on that day. On the checking of roaster register the name of the the rude and arrogant doctror can be ascertained by pgi.
The people do not come for getting insulted, rather
They come for treatment and two words of consolation.

For the fist time, i felt ashamed of having come to pgi
For 10 years and lament at the above rude and ill mannered doctor. I
Feel that such doctors also require psychic treatment at pgi otherwise
A doctor from south india would not have committed suicide.

Whether pgi take any action or censure that furious and
Misbehaved doctor, i feel relieved that as an honest and aggrieved
Senior citizen, i have apprised the consumers about the bad element in
Pgi. If pgi feel i can also stand as testimony.
