Policy Bazaar — 4-wheeler claim not getting cleared of oriental insurance issued through policy bazaar | |||
I had purchased a 4-wheeler zero-debt insurance policy through policy bazaar of oriental insurance co. Last year dated : 7th march'18, as my previous policy got expired a day before i. E 6th march'18, the policy got a new policy of oriental insurance through policy bazaar mobile app, in which i got the policy online only, no pre-inspection report was taken as my previous policy of bharti axa was already expired a day before, now in dececmber'18 my car met with an accident for which i went for a service in company owned body shop (Renault), they didn't had a cashless service for oriental insurance so i had to pay an amount of around rs.18, 300/-. Now when i submitted all the original bill documents to the insurance company (Oriental insurance co.), it went for processing, and they called me that the claim couldn't be processed, as my previous insurance (Bharti axa) got expired by one day and no pre-inspection report was provided to them. Now the point is the concept of pre-inspection report, which had to be taken care by policy bazaar, was not at all asked during issuing of the policy nor i had information about the same, now when i coordinated with the policy bazaar team for the same, they are saying that the claim has been rejected by oriental insurance as they don't have the pre-inspection report, this report should had been asked by them (Policy bazaar) during issuing the policy. Now even after having the insurance, who is the one here in loss... Its me. Requesting to take relevant legal actions against policy bazaar team... Making fool of people on the name of policy.
