[Resolved] Policy Bazaar — cancellation & refund of my investment policy | |
This is regarding cancellation & refund of my investment policy (Application no.[protected]). I am an nri residing in dubai. I once visited the policy bazaar website to check some investment plans (Which was a big mistake). Since then i started getting calls from their sales team from india. They kept on insisting me to provide some time so that they can explain to me about some good investment policies. On 18th feb 2019, i received a call from one of their sales representative ms. Deepika. She introduced me to a señior sales person mr. Tarun who specifically handles nri customers. He explained to me about bajaj alliance goal assure policy and convinced me to go for an inr 50000 monthly premium. However, i was hesitating to go for a higher premium and told him that i need time to think. But mr. Tarun convinced me that i might miss the opportunity to invest in this policy if i delay it further. He promised me that i can reduce the premium amount later or i could cancel the policy within one month if i am not interested. He also assured me that i can always contact him through online chat if i need any help regarding the policy. I made the payment of inr 50000. Due to some personal reasons, i had decided not to proceed with the policy and requested policy bazaar to cancel the application and provide me the refund. Since then there is no response from them. I emailed mr. Tarun many times, however, i never got any response. This is very disappointing and it has caused a lot of mental agonies as i don't get any proper response from their support. I contacted bajaj alliance for cancellation of the policy however they told me that they need a confirmation from policy bazaar, till date they have not received any confirmation. I am wondering why it would take so much time for providing an email confirmation. I have never come across such a pathetic service from an online service provider ever in my life. Feb 23, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved Today I called Policy Bazaar and spoke to Ms. Deepika. She informed me that she had already sent the confirmation to Bajaj Alliance for the cancellation. Later, I received an email from Bajaj Alliance confirming that my application got canceled in their system and the money will be reverted to my account in 10 - 12 working days.
