Policy Bazaar — unethical premium charging | |||||
Have gotten a policy from you guys, app id 40285961 I got a idv of 220, 500. My car was stolen at[protected], and i reported the same and submitted all the documents by oct10 (They asked lots of vague documents). Not after chasing and calling them for months, they told me i can be paid 165, 000 inr instead of 220, 500 because i have chosen a higher idv. I told them idv was provided by policy bazaar and royal sundaram, but they say to increase the premium broker may sell high idv policy but it is not right at all and royal sundaram bears no responsibility for it. I further told them only they issued the policy. So they are now saying they will offer a replacement vehicle only and not any amount as it is sold by a broker and amount was not authenticate. I gave 10056inr of premium instead of some 6000inr only to have a higher idv so as to secure myself incase of mishappening like this. I have already filed a case in irda against insurer but they claim it is a mistake on policybazaar side not from their side. I have emailed you guys so many times, you guys come with service center list and looking into the matter email, its been 20 days since you have not responded. I have called customer care they ask me to share my concern on some email id. Your id guys reply they are looking into the issue anad will get back to me and asks me to share my concern on toll free number after sharing all the concern on email.
