[Resolved] Policy Bazaar — wrong travel insurance policy issued with inaccurate details | |||
I searched for travel policy on policy bazaar for my parents' travel to uk and other european countries. Selected policy with %50kcover including peronal accident cover from iffco tokio, After paying for the policy, i received incorrect policy. Below fields were inaccurate - - name was mentioned wrong - personal accident cover was excluded from the policy (Where i had specifically read in policy wording before buying that the peronal accident was included) - countries visiting was wrong. The issued policy mentioned "belgium" while i had mentioned multiple countries in my proposal - uk, netherlands, france, switzerland, belgium, germany. All these wrong information caused me inconvenience a lot. Also when dicussed with policy bazaar consumer contact person, he said, that's how the policy gets generated by system and i should ignore the countries-visiting field. Iffco tokio on the other hand told me that the policy i bought was excluding personal accident cover and hence they cannot do anything about it. Policy bazaar website doesn't even show me which policy i had selected once the payment is made. I cannot even read through the full policy details before paying for the policy or even after paying for the policy. This is very bad website and totally disappointed with them.
