Policybazaar.com — denying insurance after deducting amount of 16000 and keeping it for 15 days | |||
I have taken a car insurance from policy bazar.com through a company name universal sompo general insurance co ltd. I have paid amount of rs 14, 746 on 16th january 2018 through net banking. They have done an inspection on 20th january 2018 and after doing the inspection the the agent came for inspection didnt tell me anything about my policy. They have not called me and told me about my insurance policy.in fact i got an email on 20th jan 2018 saying that "we would like to inform you that your vehicle has not been recommended by the insurance company due to vehicle ws glass broken. On basis of this, we have cancelled your booking and the amount would be refunded to your account within 5-7 working days." My complaint is, if they have this kind of policy, they should have done the ispection first and then should have deducted the money. They intensionall kept the money for 10 days to raise interest on that 2. Why refund require 5-7 days to take back in to my account, that means i have to drive my car without insuarance till the time. They should have asked me before taking my money whether any broken window is there in your car. They just want money and harrssed me for so many days. 4. When i initiated the application, they called thrice in day to do the payment, but they didnot call a single time for letting me know that they have rejected my insurance and refund will be done 5-7 days. I need my money back with interest and to take action against them of doing such practice of keeping money for many days and raising interst on that Was this information helpful? | |||
