Pothys — lack of local language knowledge at bangalore store

I visited the newly opened store at k g road bangalore today. Was utterly shocked to find that most of the staff there did not know kannada. I found most of them conversing in tamil which is not our language. The person in charge of the escalator, the salesman, billing section staff - found each of them talking only in tamil. When i insisted a salesman to speak in kannada, he did not show any regret in acknowledging that he doesn't know. Worst of all, even the announcement on the public address system was also in tamil. This is really very disappointing that such a famous store with a wide network of stores is so indifferent to the local language. I expect that the store realise it's folly at the earliest and make necessary amends at the earliest. I am surprised that u could not find enough people who knew kannada to be recruited. Try conducting business in your chennai store with an all - kannada staff and then you will realise how i and my other fellow kannaadigas feel. Please respect the local language in whichever state you operate.
