This is Srividya W/o Athmaram residing at Nanganallur, Chennai. I joined Pink Fitness Centre (Tulasi Fitness) on 20th November 2021. On the joining date we met the front office admin Miss Ramya and she explained the joining formalities to us.
Miss Ramya told us that the three months package rate is 12, 999/-, however they are providing an offer during that time where the all inclusive price is 9, 999/- for a three months package. Further Ramya informed us to make payment of Rs. 5, 500 as 1st installment and the balance payment of Rs. 4, 499/- can be paid at the end of the first month. We agreed to that and paid Rs. 5, 500 vide gpay (payment screenshot attached)
During the conversation Miss Ramya has confirmed that the three months package will include the below listed services.
Gym equipment access daily – 1 Hour (except Sunday)
Zumba classes weekly twice
Steaming monthly twice
Diet chart
At the end of the first month Ramya informed us that on the 9, 999/- package Zumba classes will not be included hence she demanded us to pay Rs. 7, 499/- if Zumba is also required o[censored]s.
Myself and my husband took ramya on a concall to understand why she is demanding higher money for our package, she said that it was their marketing strategy to cheat the customer by committing them for an offer package and by end of the 1st month make them pay 12, 999/-. (Note: I have reordered audio call with Ramya where she agreed that it was their marketing strategy.)
We were shocked by her way of talking and then the next morning we visited the gym and asked their staff to contact their manager/owner. Then after 30 minutes of waiting, Anitha (Owner of the gym) approached us through a call made in their staff mobile.
We informed Anthia about ramya’s behavior and how she had cheated us. Then Anitha told us the below package details
1). 9, 999/- package should be paid at once and
2). Zumba will not be provided for this package
This package details what Anitha said was completely varying with what Ramya already committed to us, we also told Anitha that we were provided with Zumba classes in the first month.
Then Anitha agreed that it was the mistake of her staff Ramya. We asked Anitha that Ramya said it was a marketing strategy and also told that she doesn’t care about what happened to us, but there was no response from Anitha about her staff behavior.
Anitha said she cannot compensate for the mistake of her staff in any means and also denied even showing my signed application form. She also told me not to continue with her gym anymore.
I was deeply hurt by the acts of Ramya and Anitha and their irresponsible behavior even after knowing my medical history.
I bring this to your notice to take immediate action and we need to be compensated accordingly.
