Presidium School — Discrepancies in the fee structure and other costs

Address:South West Delhi, Delhi

A formal letter is already sent to the School management highlighting following:- 1. Increase in the fees: An unjustifiable increase in the fee - year-on-year that is not commensurate to the services rendered. 2. Fee during the shift to Gr 1: Most of the parents were assured then, that the tuition fee would be reduced to a fair extent from Grade 1. On the contrary, it increased. 3. Development charge: This seems to be a totally grey area. A steep sum ranging from RS 15000 to Rs. 20, 000 per year for each child and no additional amenities/facilities/services are being provided against it, directly or indirectly, from Nursery classes onwards. Parents have been told that it goes towards creating future facilities - which defeats the logic since it’s not impacting the current amenities. 4. Differential Fee Structure: Students (even from the same class) pay different annual/tuition/other fee depending upon various reasons. Also, students at junior classes pay more than the senior classes! 5. Commitments made at the time of admissions of children have not been fully honoured yet.
