[Resolved] Provogue India — irctc/provogue offer | |||||
I am a customer of irctc. Having purchased a holiday from irctc, i saw an ad site in the irctc web platform with the name irctc provogue offer. The site ip address was http://www.irctc.provogue.com/ I clicked and a page opened with the caption, "thank you for your booking with irctc. Now redeem your stylish provogue merchandise worth up-to rs. 7499/- free*. Click 'continue' to proceed. I clicked and was directed to another page http://www.irctc.provogue.com/irctc-offers. There were different offers and i clicked on the 1 st one, viz. Combo-2 ; comprising a man's provogue watch, a lady's provogue watch and a provogue bag. I was redirected to provide all my personal details and pay rs.799.00 through bank debit/credit card or net banking. I paid using your sbi debit card. This is the conformation from sbi online, which reads"thank you for using your sbi debit card 519xx8004 for a purchase worth rs799.0 on pos 80000590 at provogue citrus txn#[protected]".. I was advised prior to closing of the page that i will be getting an email confirmation of the order from provogue. I didn't receive any emails from provogue yet. But the money is gone. After waiting for hours, i attempted to call the provogue india number at bombay[protected] several times. Every time an ivr announcement asked for details which i gave and was asked to wait to be connected to a customer service agent. But no agent came online or neither there was any other voice message from the ivr. I am feeling fleeced!. Further to your forwarding my complaint to Provogue, they contacted over email from their id [email protected] & [email protected] and committed to dispatch the products within 28 business days. Even though it, 28 business days, sounded a bit steep, I decided to wait.
However, before even a week passed, they indeed delivered the materials ordered.
The products are of good quality and workmanship. We all liked it. I wrote back to Provogue thanking them.
Please accept my sincere appreciation to your efforts to redress this grievance. I certainly believe, your involvement in fact expedited the redressal. THANKS. Provogue India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||||
