Viman nagar has high encroachments. The vendors occupying the footpaths and shop extensions are using cooking gas cylinders and preparing things which possess huge risks to people who commute on the roads.
The lane opposite to shalimar trump has encroachments starting in the evenings and use gas burners, cylinders to make things. It is very difficult to cross the lanes.
There is a shop near kailash super market which has extended the shop to let the vendors sell cigarettes, tobacco products, tea (Using unsafe cylinder hose pipes) which is just 10 - 15 meters from the learning curve nursery and playgroup. This is illegal. During diwali, there was fire cracker shop without fire extinguisher, besides the tea vendor and fast food selling shop which was very serious fire explosion threat to people having shops besides and commuters using the foot path and roads.
The encroachment was removed a couple of times in morning / afternoon, but business was as usual by evening. Request the authorities to even see the results in the evening and have more frequent visits to avoid encroachments.
