Pune Traffic Police — no badge / id card worn by traffic police

Address:Pune, Maharashtra, 411057

Traffic policemen don't wear any identification badges or ids especially on weekends so that no one can complaint about the on-duty bribes they may wish to take.

On this saturday (28/04/18), near infosis circle hinjewadi, traffic police stopped our car to check the papers of interstate transfer. After finding that all documents were fine, he was so disappointed with us that it made me think if he was actually the cops or a goon standing there for minting money.

I believe wearing id is mandatory and somebody should keep a check on them.

There is a No Parking sign needed on our street on the side where no parking is allowed. Today there is One Side Parking Only sign, but people do not see it and are parking on both sides, causing a problem for the traffic flow on the street.

This is a request to please put up a No Parking sign on the side where it is not allowed.
