[Resolved] Punjab National Bank Housing Finance [Pnbhfl] — home loan rate of interest reduction
This mail is with reference to following loan account numbers:
1) hou/ban/1215/256683: current roi 9.65%
2) nhl/blri/0817/422474: current roi 9.75%
I was sanctioned housing loan april, 2016 through a bank dsa named puneeth. Later there was reduction of rate of interest in housing loan. My loan being loan under floating rate of interest, i did not receive a call or intimation of loan rate reduction from bank. On my personal i requested branch to reduce rate of interest. For that again i approached my dsa mr. Puneeth. At that time since i had requirement of more funds, bank agreed to give a additional mortgage loan of rs.51, 50, 000 with a promise to reduce the roi to current floating rate. With this assurance i applied loan made all processing fee payments and got loan sanctioned in september, 2017.
I have been following up with dsa mr. Puneeth also with branch for reduction of housing loan interest. I have not received any response to my requests.
I have been an diligent customer to bank and till date i do not have missed any emi's due to bank. This being my sincerity i expect bank to reciprocate the same to honest customers and extend the benefit of lower interest. I would make a request to refund the excess interest paid until date.
I have not heard from bank yet.
This taking time beyond limit. I have paid cheque on 31.08.2017. Its been 7 months and no resolution yet from the branch.
Kindly understand trouble to a customer. At the same time if roi increases bank doesn't even inform us before changing the same. This is unfair to customers. I have no more patience left to wait for this change. The dsa doesn't even respond to calls. I don't understand whom should i talk to in this regard.
