[Resolved] Quikr — car purchase | |||
Date :- 28th July, 2019. Sir/Ma'am, We contacted a dealer on Quickr website for car purchase - Ertiga 2012 Model - which was on the website for Rs. 2, 05, 000 with a side view on the website. The contact details of the dealers, sellers and intermediates are as follows: [protected] - Vikram Balu Waghmare [protected] - Sahil Kumar BSF Indian Army as on TrueCaller and on WhatsApp. We did contact to the owner on call ([protected] as stated on the website yesterday), which was changed to [protected] Overnite Express BSF (as on truecaller), Sanjay Yadav with Mail ID [protected]@gmail.com today itself. He demanded for us to visit the venue - Kirkee Camp Gate No. 2. Daily he is changing the contact details (contact number and Mail ID). When we reached there, no-one was there to entertain us about the car details. Later when they responded, they asked for some fee of Rs. 2, 160 - Account Name "ARMY TRANSPORT" Account Number[protected] IFSC PYTM0123456 Savings Account through PayTM Transaction ID[protected] - to look at the car, and it is refundable. These people claim being Army Service Men, they wear the Army Uniform as well, but it is not clear that they are truthful or not. Even you can cross-check and verify this. After payment, when we reached there for the car, we didn't find the car anywhere, and later they demanded an extra payment of Rs. 5, 100 - Same Account Transaction ID[protected] - for GPS charges, and they replied with a denial of the service stating that we had to pay Rs. 5, 160 instead of Rs. 5, 100. We did pay the amount of Rs. 5, 160 - Same Account Transaction ID[protected] - and they replied stating that the previous amount, Rs. 5, 100 will be refunded, in case of purchasal, or else entire money, Rs. 12, 420 will be refunded within 10 minutes as by-hand cash. But, later when they did not reply to all our attempts to contact to them and not even a glimpse of the car was given till the end, and no money refunded. Even the dealer and the seller were using inappropriate words for each other during the Conference Call we had with them. We do have all the recordings of all the calls made between us and the dealer and seller as well, and we are going to file a complaint against you in the Consumer Court as well in case if no response comes from your side till 30th July, 2019, 6 PM by latest. Even today, at 6:00 PM, we did call him, but he replied in a very harsh manner. Desirable Resolution from our side would be the refund of all the payments that we made, i.e. Rs. 12, 420 as soon as possible.
