[Resolved]  Quikr — Defective phone delivered

Ordered a Lenovo A7000 from QuikrX in exchange of my Blackberry Z3 on March 1, 2016.

Received the new mobile on 4th March 2016, at 8PM. Handed over my old mobile to the delivery executive.

Just after an hour I reaslied that the speaker of the new Lenovo phone was not working. There was no ring for an incoming call, nor could i play any music.

I wrote an email to Quikr stating the problem.

Next day 5th March, I receive a call from the customer care and I explain the problem. They tell that will call back.

Numerous other times I call up the customer care and receive vague responses.

I receive another call from a person named Sunny, and I am informed that I have cancelled the order then how can I claim that I have received a defective mobile phone. Also the in the order details the payment mode has been changed to COD, but I had paid the difference amount by credit card. They had messed up with the order big time.

I can guarantee that the order status was changed to cancelled after 6PM on 4th March. Since I had checked the status before that by logging on in my account on Quikr.

I make them understand that I have not cancelled the order. They disconnect the call saying they will look into the matter and call back in 30 mins.

2 hours passed and nobody called. I call the customer care again and still all nonsense vague responses. One of the guys even said to visit the authorised service centre for getting the mobile repaired. I reminded him of the 7 day replacement guarantee.

Then some guy named Saiyad from customer care told me that the mobile will be replaced by Tuesday, 8th March. He assured me. He also told that I can use the existing mobile phone untill then. A delivery boy will get a new mobile phone and I can handover the defective phone to him. I get assured and wait for Tuesday.

Monday, 7th March I call up the customer care to confirm the delivery of the new mobile. Since there are no updates in my account on the quikr.com website.

To my surprise the guy told me that a delivery executive will visit me on 8th March and collect the defective phone. They will then find out whether there is really a defect in the phone and then provide me a new phone. This whole process will take 1 week.

Now, the problem arises that I do not have any spare mobile phone.
And, if they had to follow this process why was I told that the delivery of new mobile and collection of the defective piece will happen at the same time.

Very bad service by Quikr and its representatives. Ill informed customer care executives. One guy was utter rude. Since all calls are recorded all my claims above can be validated.

I want Quikr to get me a new Lenovo A7000 and take away the defective phone on the same day and I want this to be done on the same day.
