[Resolved]  Razorpay — refund not received

Hello There,

I have used Rajorpay service to pay on irctc to book a ticket. Later I cancelled it and according to IRCTC, they have refunded it on 07th Jan through Rajorpay.

The amount still not have credited(as on 12 Feb 2019). I opened a support ticket(354917) but they are not cooperative. Rajorpay refund tracking service also shows that it has been delayed but not provide any update since last 15 days when I checked first. I also asked them to provide ARN (Acquirer reference number) so I can take my bank help to trace the refund but they are not providing this information as well. You can not connect them over phone at all.

It's amazing that sitting on customer money with no accountability is super easy in India. Please beware before you use Rajorpay as a payment gateway to book the ticket on IRCTC.

It took 66 days for them to refund my money finally after complaint to Indian railway through their coms platform. IRCTC support is pathetic and Rajorpay support is equally bad. They have displayed their toll free number on their website but only have recorded message that "Due to unusually high traffic, please log ticket using support channel on website". Moral: Do not book ticket on IRCTC mobile platform if you want to make payment using UPI, where crooks such as paytm, Razorpay are listed as UPI platform, use desktop site, There are few good options there.
Razorpay customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Hello Razorpay,

It's more than 50 days now(Today is 28 Feb 2019) since I am awaiting for refund. The last response from you of 13 Feb 2019 over email where you said that you have escalated this matter to your partnering bank.

You have demeaning the word escalation. Did not get any reply from bank even after escalation and if indeed not what's your standard operating procedure says to deal with such kind of issue?

You are liable to be dragged in Pune district consumer forum soon.

Now it's two months, refund money still has not been credited into account. People please beware before using Razorpay service for any online transaction.

They have stopped replying to email thread with reference number: 354917. A cheat company.
